Why We Built This Site

West Virginia provides public access to many court writings, yet the route depends on who keeps the record. The Kanawha County Circuit Clerk maintains circuit, family, juvenile, appeal, guardianship, and mental-hygiene files. The Magistrate Clerk supplies magistrate documents that are not offered in the public index. Five municipal courts publish their own local directions. We bring those official routes, request details, and access limits together so a reader can reach the correct custodian without treating separate systems as one database.
